A Little MAME Advice

Just wanted to know how to get past the language selection screen for Qix in MAME?

I'm using 0.149

I run .146. I just tried it outside of GameEx and the key that got me past it was F1. I think F1 puts you into a service mode. I hit it like 4 times and it got me to the title screen.

Now every time I load it it goes right to the game. I believe MAME needed to create a cfg file (also date stamped when I did this) to run clean.

EDIT: Worked just fine inside GameEx also. Only had to do it once. Every subsequent load went right to the title screen.
