[RESOLVED] Error When Selecting Theme in GameEx set up

Hi Guys

I'm loving GameEx and apprecaite all the hard work that has been spent by so many in making GameEx the best front end available!

I recently encountered an error when selecting a new theme in the set up wizard mode. I've found similar issues on the forum which appeared to resolved with a fresh install of GameEx. I've reinstalled GameEx and the error message persists. Attached is log file containing the error message and my gameEx config file. Any suggestions would be most apprecaited. Thanks!

Thanks for the log and ini files - can you confirm which theme(s) you were trying to select when the error occured?

I'm sorry I can't recall for sure which theme I was selecting when I received the error message. The config file shows "Simple Mode ArcadeVGA 352x256" but that may have been the last working theme before the error. I was scrolling down the list of themes trying different themes in order but not every one. Thank you for your help, I really appreciate it!

Anytime. If you can try to recreate the selection so we can narrow down which theme(s) may be suspect in creating the error it will be much appreciated.

I'll be happy to do all that's necessary to resolve this issue, but I'm unsure how to recreate the error selection when I'm unable to select a theme in set up. Attached is an image of what I see when I go to the theme selection page. Can I change the theme in the config file to one I know has worked in the past and start from there?

If I remember correctly, you need to re-download the themes. BTW: My memory sucks.

I redownloaded a few themes and did a fresh install of GameEx and that seems to have fixed my error. Thank you very much for all your suggestions, I apprecaite it! I would mark this issue as resolved but I'm not sure how to. This may a moderator or admin function. If not, please let me know how to do so. Thanks again!

In the future if you edit your first post you should be able to edit the title from there. Try it out! :-)
