Gameex running terrible

I installed gameex on my sons pc and it runs terrible. What I mean is it was freezing on the create lists menu, so I changed verify roms in the wizard to no, and that sorted that. Once it gameex loads it only the first rom video but doesn't the play the the rom (black screen)

If I press Esc nothing, if say before I load a rom press Esc it goes back etc but when it exits it doesn't go back to windows, just a black screen

Sounds like a codec issue.

It looks like its either an issue with emulator 3 or the emulator after that. Either that or the machine has dodgy codecs installed.

Codecs always cause problems.. Best to use Sharks when in doubt!
