The controls on that were simple.. point the joystick in the opposite direction you want to go (like, UP to go down, it's simply to point which way you want the paddling to go) and then press the trigger button the joystick to paddle. Now that I think about it, I'm not even sure how you threw cans on the Atari ST version since you only have 1 button, I'll have to go back and see if I can remember.
