Custom Emulator Backgrounds not loading Consistently?

Could you try doing a fresh install of GE over your current install to see if this fixes you emu pages? I'm thinking the "funky BG" issue isn't a direct issue with GE, but rather the theme itself. As I siad, this only happens with custom themes for me, the default themes seem to work as expected... and it's not an issue with all my custom themes, but rather a select few.

I threw on a 2nd install in a 2nd directory and from what I can tell the BG issue is still there but the new layout issue I mentioned a couple posts back is resolved. hat tells me there has to be some sort of config file I can edit in my old install to resolve the layout issue. Anyone have an idea of what file that might be? I have accepted the BG issue as the way it goes for now...but the layout issue just makes certain emulators look messy and I cannot stand that.

Maybe someone with a little more knowledge (KRC, Tempest, nullPointer) can chime in and help you out. Yeah, I've accepted the "BG Glitch" for what it is, it doesn't happen to often on my rig and will probably be non-existant when the "Evolution" arrives Have you tried comparing your GameEx.ini from your first install to the one from your 2nd install? Might shine some light on what the problem is.
