I'll start playing tonight Quick tip for people that never played this game... if the stage looks too crowded you can try to shoot at it a couple bombs... most objects can be destroyed.Quick tip #2: you can spend LOTS of bombs. For best results, when you spot an enemy that uses to throw bombs at you, let him throw the bomb, then shoot at the bomb to get one for you Quick survival tip: You can shoot enemy's bullets.Quick survival tip2: ROLL! Beats my second spot Entering your initials > see in the lower left side of the screen. When you're game over "continue ?" is counting from 10 til 0. You've to wait till the counter reaches 0. be77amy Posted December 9, 2013 Share Posted December 9, 2013 Had to double and triple check this but turns out if you have continue disallowed via the dip switches (as per post #1 rules) you don't get the initial entry. you need to watch the continue countdown to 0 as you say. be77amy Posted December 9, 2013 Share Posted December 9, 2013 Maybe it has something to do with the version I'm using but on mine when the dip switch is set to not allow continue I don't get the countdown. Just checked it again now. Did you remember to reset the game after changing the dip switches, otherwise you won't be using the correct settings. Doesn't really effect this game much but on some of the others where you have to change difficulty or extra life scores could make a big difference! Does anybody know if you're score gets reset if you DO use a continue? That might make it a little more fair. If not, I'll have to see how GC feels about it. We've been pretty "uptight" about making sure our rules match TwinGalaxies', but since they're still unavailable (their website doesn't even have a placeholder anymore...).
