I have been trying t get zink 1.1 to work in game ex for almost 2 weeks now, and can not seem to find much usefull information online to set it up. I used zink gui and can get that to work just fine on its own, i was able to trouble shoot that one because the ( show zink output ) option on the bottom of the page but i cant seem to find a way to get zink gui to work with gameex. If there is a way to set this up in gameex that would be great but now im trying to get zink 1.1 configured.

1. As far a the renderers do i use the one that comes with the ziped 1.1 package i noticed its not a dll, or do i have to get one of other renders that zink gui uses, As far as the zink gui renders the one that worked best for me was the gpupeopssoft.dll.

2. When i try to use the windows run last game option after i close game ex the cmd box comes up for like 2 secs and closes before i can read it.

3. Do I have to put the roms in the the zink folder or direct them to my mame roms and how do i do that or does gameex do that for me, i noticed when i updated my rom list it made a zink profile with the roms there for me.

Thank you to anyone that can help me get this going, i have been going crazy tring to get this working.

Unless you have an old PC, why even bother with that? MAME can run these games already, there's no real benefit to using this outdated (and probably discontinued) emulator.

If you still want to set up Zinc, best of luck because it's a real bear... I'll step aside and someone here might be able to help with this as I don't use it anymore. :'(

My pc is older athlon 4800 duel core, i have been wondering if it was worth setting up, with so little info online i figured not many people were using it. Thanks for the speedy reply.

I'm sure that can handle all these ROMs in MAME. With a medium level video card even. ;)
