NO! GameEx !

I just went to start GameEx and it came up with "GameEx has stopped working!! .Can I reinstall GameEx without losing all my setup? Tried once before and lost all the settings dont want that if I can help it! its a lot of hard work. REGARDS Frank

Make a backup of your \gameex folder contents elsewhere and download and reinstall. Under normal circumstances, this is not an issue to be worried about, which means you need to do some checking ouside of GameEx to figure out why it happened. Check through your Event View logs in Windows (under Administrative Tools if you have it enabled or accessible via typing Event Viewer and then clicking on the application that appears at the top of the search window). Try looking for any events that show GameEx listed. Just a long shot and you may find nothing, or, if you do, then the description or the error may be broad and non-descript.

Ok backed up the GameEx folders and uninstalled GameEx, Reinstalled GameEx and its still coming up with "GameEx Has Stopped working" Checked the event viewer and the only errors are "atapi" ones (39 last hr) (538 last 24hrs) 91378 last 7 days)

If you have that many errors, you're gonna want to Google the error code and fix that.

If you have a hdd that's failing that would certainly explain it. Of course I can't help you without a log.

But you probably knew that by now.

No startup video , as regards to the HDD , GameEx is on the main C Drive which is a brand new 238 gig SSD, 1 month old,Could be a windows reinstall been having a few weird events over the last month!

Looks like GameEx isn't even initializing at all, this log is from the 14th. I'm def thinking it's hard drive failure.
