brodzowski Posted November 7, 2013 Share Posted November 7, 2013 I imagine it's related to codecs, but I tried the shark codecs and after they crashed, tried klite. It wouldn't even play them. The first table to come up will play with shark and then as you browse through it will get worse until it finally locks. Static images work fine. Win 7 64 bit. Any ideas? Should I try a different format? What are you guys finding that works well? The same f4v files?As a side note- THANK you for this fantastic front end! It's SOOOOO much easier to use and after having a fully working Hyperpin frontend, the crossover was seamless! All I want is a bit more bling and I'll be a happy camper. zeenon Posted November 7, 2013 Share Posted November 7, 2013 I hate issues like this because it could be an old codec you had installed prior to the Shark codecs.Make sure you are using the one Tom linked to, on the main PBX page. (I think that is version 4.1.8) (Maybe some one else can comment but I think there was an issue with the newer version on the Shark codec web page). I also never installed the 64 bit add-on, even though I'm running win7 64 bit.I use the normal .F4V files that you'll find on all the sites for backgrounds and table videos.Z 1 Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

Draco1962 Posted November 7, 2013 Share Posted November 7, 2013 I run the 64-bit add-on codecs for Shark007 and have had few if any problems with GameEx. The main thing to remember is that, if uninstalling, uninstall the 64-bit first, then the 32-bit Shark007 codec pack before reinstalling. Just a heads up for anyone in the future. May or may not have been my fix, but regardless, I have a 64 bit system and the 32 shark install works fine. Thanks for the idea Z!
