carnt get instantsheller off

hi, i used instantsheller on my machine and i can not get it off. ive undone the changes but it still takes over. is the any files i can delete in the reg or something.

Hit Ctrl/Alt/Delete together,type windows.exe.

This should take you back to your desktop.Delete instant sheller from your docs,program files and then restart your computer.

This should work as i had the very same problem and it fixed it for me.

I then reinstalled instant sheller again with no problems.

ive tried typing windows.exe in and it says it cannot find it. im using windows xp. i located by typing in explorer and deleted it but when i restarted it, it was the same.

You can change your shell manually in Windows XP using the registry editor.

Open "regedit" the same way you opened explorer, or open explorer and use Run from the Start Menu.

In regedit, use the folder in the left pane to go to HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE > SOFTWARE > Microsoft > Windows NT > CurrentVersion > Winlogon.

Double-click on Shell in the right pane, and change it to explorer.exe.
