Removing games from Steam emulator list

So I have steam set up and everything works great! There is a problem, however.

I have my arcade cabinet near a TV. When I want to use controllers on the couch, I use Big Picture. When on the arcade cabinet, where I use gameex, I would like to just see arcade control friendly games.

I would like gameex to only show what I want. Deleting a game off the list with the delete key does not work. It tries to go through, but doesn't change anything. Is there any alternative to this other than making a pc game emulator? I love the steam features, but no filtering is killing me!

Any suggestions?

Since Steam support is integrated in the FE, you will probably need to submit an Enhancement/Feature Request. Please do so here.

Running Big Picture as a separate emulator for just those games you play from the couch may be the best alternative for right now.
