[RESOLVED] 1.53 VP dmd bug?

Hi guys.

I updated from 1.52 to 1.53 today and I have a new bug I guess.

Once I load up a Visual Pinball table the virtual dmd is showing up on the table. If I run visual pinball directly (without PinballX) then everything is as it's supposed to be with NO virtual dmd showing up.

Like I said, this is new with 1.53.

Anyone else seeing this?

Also, I can't seem to find where I can download older versions. I was going to revert back to 1.52 for the time being.

Just curious but why would you not want it to show the VP virtual DMD and why is it normally showing?

The attached pinballx.exe file you posted didn't fix the problem. But thanks for getting back to me so quickly.

Like many people, I built a full sized pinball cab. I'm using two hdtv's for the playfield and backglass, and a real Vishay pinball dmd. So, no I definitely do not want a virtual dmd on the playfield at all. I haven't changed anything else, so I know that the 1.53 version of pinballx is the problem. I can play VP direct from the VP.exe and I can also play from hyperpin and pinselect. All 3 of these options allow me to play without the virtual dmd showing up on the playfield.

Are you willing to give us the option to revert back to 1.52?

I am willing to fix the problem. I don't have 1.52.

How exactly is the DMD hidden?

The attached should fix the problem. If it doesn't a previous a version won't help. If you spend some time working with me I will fix the issue for future releases.

That version works great. What ever you changed did the trick. The virtual dmd is hidden again.
