Turn off HideOS.exe on a single emulator?

Hey folks! Was searching for an answer for this and came up shy. Seems Hideos.exe blocks out some doesgames I am launching using the old shortcut as roms trick and I have to manually hit ctrl+alt+del to close Hideos.exe in order for my game to show up and not just have a black screen. In display settings I have hide desktop to no, and in the emulator I have show desktop selected yet Hideos.exe still launches. Am I missing something? If this has already been discussed and I just cant seem to find the topic id be happy if you could post a link.

Setting display desktop to true in the emulator config should kill the hideos process. Not sure why it is not. Can you please follow the instructions when you hit reply to this.
