Krakerman
Just picked me up a Razer Sabertooth gamepad to use on my PC today to replace my crappy Razer Onza. I must say it's much better than the Onza by far. So that leads me to ask my fellow GameEx'ers. What is your gamepad of choice?
celly
Xbock 360 trollers. They fit just perfect for my huge mitts. Better than a playstation controller.
Adultery
Wireless 360 pads, Xpadder, and a small wireless keyboard. They work beautiful together.
Draco1962
I use original XBOX wired controllers (no wireless 360 controllers free in my house but plenty of the old style) along with a 3rd party adapter to USB w/driver and Xpadder. Also have a wireless (bluetooth) mouse and keyboard.
KRC
A 360 wireless controller with no vibration as I took the motor's out and no guide button which was replaced with a solid button. The pad is really light now.
hansolo77
Holy F^CK that controller looks awesome! So many buttons. Are those more triggers on the bottom of the controller as well (they look like throttles). I definitely need to get me one of those. My gamepad I'm using right now is a Saitek P2500 Rumblepad. I got it because it has 3x2 (6) actions buttons similar to the Sega controllers.
Krakerman
Yeah there are 2 triggers on the bottom that can go both ways forward or back for a total of 4 on the bottom. Some of these are just programmable within the controller and you can turn off the rumble too if you want as well. Nice controller very happy with it as I wanted to upgrade from my Onza and Wireless 360 controllers. However it is very expensive I think I payed like $70 for mine. hansolo77
$70 is about what a new Xbox controller costs.. at least that's what I think they were when I had to buy a replacement for mine when the headphone jack stopped working. Is it cross-platform compatible? Like, you can use it on the Xbox AND the PC?
Krakerman
Yes no drivers needed. Win 7 automatically detected it as a Razer Sabertooth Elite controller.
Krakerman
Well for those who use the Pinnacle Game Profiler I created an ImageGuide for the Razer Sabertooth Elite since I haven't seen one created yet.
hansolo77
Well, I think I'm gonna get me one! That just looks awesome.
Krakerman
Check Best Buy I think they sell them. I got mine at Frys Electronics it was over in the XBOX 360 section but it works on PC.
nullPointer
Logitech F710. I love it. I lean a bit more towards favoring PlayStation style controllers, or else I'd probably be using a wireless 360 controllers as well.
