im new to this and was looking on youtube and seen some people displaying pc games from gameex i look all over to see how to do this but couldnt find a way can someone help me please

Ill warn you this can be a bit complex but is possible. If using Steam its almost automatic. For other individual PC games you can either set them up as individual emulators or individual applications.

Cool video. I will have to add that to the site. Yeah, basically they are set up as individual emulators or applications for each PC game by the look of it. It also looks like Joe has a custom menu setup so I cant precisely see how he has them setup.

OK HOW DO I SET IT UP AS application

In simple terms you just use the included setup wizard with GameEx, go to the applications page and point everything required to where the game is. Some games require more work and can have some complexity to them. As your new to this I am just trying to keep things simple for now.

You can also set them up as an emulator. Its similar (set the paths and game location) and there is a setting in the setup wizard to tell GameEx its not actually an emulator and is a PC game. If the game requires some work to get working like it has a loader it will need to be setup as an emulator and then things get more tricky.

There is a page by page tutorial for the Setup Wizard found here. I would recommend reading through it and saving it to your browser Favorites/Bookmarks so you become familiar as we attempt to guide you through your request.

For setting up PC games, you will likely need to set them up via External Applications (unless you are setting up Steam games, which, if enabled, GameEx will handle all the heavy lifting for you).

its noting about adding applications

Open Setup Wizard. Select Custom --> External Applications.

The first option is a drop-down menu that assign a number to every application (that in this case are games). Fill in the fields and see if the game launches.

I didn't see the video, so I can't say for sure, but if it looks "cool" probably the games have been set up as emulators and grouped together, so that a lot of artwork and options are displayed. But forget this for the moment. If you are searching for the option to add external application, I told you where to find it.

And please note: if you have problems configuring your games and/or launching them, next please attach GameEx.ini (located in GameEx\CONFIG folder) and Log.txt (located in GameEx\LOG folder). Add runit.bat too (in GameEx\DATA).

This way we can trobleshoot issue a lot more quickly and effectively.

A very useful thread that details these steps can be found here:
