persistent problems in 1.45

Attract mode has been super stable, thanks!

But, preview vids with sound still play under game when launched.

And... I still have a few titles using the wrong vids.

This one may be me but when I hit esc button (on ipac) to exit game, game exits but to desktop. Pbx is still on tool bar. If I hit enter it opens right up.

Are you sure its audio in the vids and not individual sounds for the tables?

I shouldn't even mention it. I only have 2 tables with sound and I don't like it anyway! One was Star Trek and it did have audio. Did... Scared Stiffs audio is embeded. It starts when the table is up on the wheel and restarts when play table is selected sound restarts and plays under game.

Sorry, no change. I hadn't gone back to Shark defaults, so I did... still no luck. I even thought maybe it was bg with sound but its pf. If I'm the only one and its 2 of 283 tables, I'll live

1.46 didn't fix my media associations either, sorry... really want to see that worked out...

unless its a backglass video I really have no idea.

1.46 allows you turn off the file searching/matching. This will resolve your issue. Unfortunately matching is not an exact science and its never going to 100%. If you can't resolve it manually by renaming files then your other option is to turn it off.

Since it is emulator neutral, wouldn't apps such as Tempest's Perfect Match help some in the PinballX community with their matching/renaming chores?

Not in its current form as it uses XML files. (Like MAP files).

Turning off matching fixed it, thanks! Now I have a lot of game managering to do!
