keyboard plugged in through x arcade will not type

I have my mame and emulator setup through x arcade and my keyboard has stopped typing so I am unable to type into the computer. But if I load gameex and I want to play mame games it will work as a controller? Any ideas it goes through the back of the xarade in the ps2 slot

Also game launcher won't load it gives me an error. What should I do next?

Sounds like its either a fault with the X-Arcade or the keyboard. Have you tried another keyboard? If you have and its still not working and assuming your stick is under warranty I would contact XGaming about it.

As for your last paragraph about Game Launcher we require certain detail to help resolve issues otherwise we are basically just guessing, baffled and clueless. Check the big notice when you reply to this post and follow the link.

I would recommend checking into the Xarcade manuals and their online support. The first thing, however, would be to disconnect the Xarcade and plug your keyboard directly into the PC. If you are still having issues with the keyboard and GameEx, then you have a keyboard issue. If not, then try adding the Xarcade and connect your keyboard separately. No issue? Then it is the keyboard pass through with the Xarcade. You will also need to make sure that you are using a proper config for MAME that is made specifically for the Xarcade stick.

I used to have an X-Arcade. If memory serves, it can either use PS2 or USB to connect to your PC. Have you tried using just the USB and connecting your keyboard into the pc with the PS2 connection? Maybe the problem is with the keyboard connecting through the X-Arcade.
