As it says above. Option in setup to allow mame on home checked, and also mame is 'enabled' in advanced setup. Any advice?

Why doesn't anything stay 'unbroken' for any period of time??

Tried searching the forums, just got back a lot of irrelevant search results.

Cheers

When reporting a possible GameEx bug or error, please ensure you submit a copy of your log.txt and gameex.ini file so we may quickly assist you. Please refer to this link for additional information.

Okey-dokey. Tried that - followed instructions - copied all in each and posted here. Error message "post too long" - next suggestion?

btw - game-ex isn't crashing - would a log file still help?

cheers

You can still attach the file in reply - click on More Reply Options in the lower right as you begin your reply, then click on the Choose Files button under Attach Files and browse to the location on your system and click open, then save your reply.

Hmmmm... still can't find out what's going on with this. Scoured setup wizard with a fine tooth comb- still no idea. Can anyone help? Prob something really obvious!

Damn! Sorted it. Upgraded mother board and it changed the drive letter of my second hard drive. As the rom path was pointing towards a non existing drive, mame didn't show in GE. Guess should study logs more closely!

Path issues are difficult for us to diagnose since we can't be sure they are correct.

Note to self:

Have users verify setup in the Setup Wizard to diagnose path issues.
