I came home from work and had about 6 messages on Facebook from people wishing me a happy birthday too. You never know how much you mean to people. Even a simple Happy Birthday goes a long way to make a depression riddled individual such as myself feel acknowledged and worth staying alive. No cake/ice cream/presents though. Part of me knows I'm getting too old for it anyway. But my family isn't very financially secure these days and I understand about not having the money to have parties and stuff. Still, we might end up doing something this weekend. My new step-nephew (stepmom's daughter's son) had a birthday a month or so ago and they went to a place called Dave & Busters. I never been there before, but apparently they got an "arcade" like Chucky Cheeses and my stepmom was bragging about taking me there for MY birthday. We'll just have to wait and see. Could be fun.
