Games - emulator Menu's

i finaly got gameex all setup nice and everything working, i use a MCE remote and game pads i notced that on emulators like mame and snes there are thousnads of roms would it be possible to add a feature like categories A,B,C... Z As i found it takes ages to scroll down to the last games

possibly like a-z on the top of the page and it takes you down the page to the chosen letter or even someting like bwllow

B+

C+

as u select the letter it shows the games and closes if u select again

Hope other people may have a idea simaler to make it better

Try to keep these in feature requests. I believe that people have asked for similar things.

Additionally, you can easily have an autohotkey script that when a button is pressed you can page down very fast through your roms.

If you are intersted I can post my version that will do just that. Let me know.

Personally I do get around the 4000+ roms by holding down fire1 and moving up and down on the game pad, I don't have MCE remote but I do imagine you could reconfig a command or two.

Dont forget: fire1/button1/ctrl and left or right will "Alpha" page the list.

Tom, would it be possible to have the MCE remote page down? Maybe with the skip buttons?

thats a good idea or possibly use the channel up and down this will allow scrolling both ways

opps i just tryed channel up and down the scroll the window lengh
