KRC
I was talking to my other half yesterday and she started moaning saying I don't pull my weight around the house. So she gave me something to do If it's something I hate it's gardening, Give me anything else to do and I'm right on it, but come on this is uncalled for. Draco1962
You need to buy a goat, or maybe two. Otherwise, you are the goat! Btw, is that a man's leg sticking out from the grass?
hansolo77
LOL! Dude that sucks. Is there any grass under all that? Good luck.
KRC
I've no idea what's in there, it's actually alot taller than it look's (In some place's it's about 8ft tall grass and weeds).Over the past couple of year's there has been Fox's, Huge Toads and Snakes.ps. Draco I wouldn't be suprised if there was a leg in there (It's been neglected for so long)
Draco1962
You need more than electric hedge clippers (which won't touch the grass anyway). I still vote for goats.
KRC
The hedge trimmer is just for the majority of the thorny bushes, I made an enquiry yesterday for a digger to come and rip the shitty turf out and then we can start the proper landscaping. £320 it will cost in total, not too bad but my Mrs didn't bat an eyelid with the cost because she wants it gone. She has mentioned getting new rear fencing and getting some Duck's with their wing's clipped, and possibly a Pig

Better to tear it out, put in some new topsoil and either re-turf all of it or part of it along with some raised vegetable garden beds. KRC
Throw away the hedge clippers, and get one of these: Man I wish I had one of those! @Krakerman, I wish I could pay someone else to chop the bushes down but the Mrs demanded I do it. I made a start yesterday and it wasn't as bad as I thought it would be, still a long way to go though

Draco1962
Not sure how property insurance is handled in the UK, but here, having a trampoline can be a cause for increased liability insurance (some insurers will even drop you if there is a trampoline related claim filed against). Not to mention once the neighborhood urchins find out... never been worth it IMO.
