Pinned / locked threads

A question for the mods/admins: the first thread in a forum is the one who has the most recent reply. When a thread is both pinned AND locked that one is always above a regular thread. With more threads being both pinned AND locked the first rule applies again.

Question 1 - when a thread is pinned but NOT locked > will this thread always be above any regular thread?

Question 2 - when a thread is pinned but NOT locked and is the topic with the most recent reply > will it than also be above any threads being both pinned AND locked?

I ask this in regard to the threads I am creating and have created for our Hi-score competition.

All pinned threads - regardless of lock - will appear towards the top. The pinned thread with the latest post will appear topmost. There is not any way to alter this behavior. It's just the nature of the beast!
