Damon
Hi guys!Trying to build a custom menu, and here's basically what I would like:I startup gameEx and I get:A list of all the games I have in alphabetical order (currently I only have mame games, but would love to know how to do this if I have multiple emulators, still focusing on just MAME games for now is best). Somewhere at the bottom of that list there's an "Update List" choice. That's it! No emulator listings, no sub menus, just that. If that's not possible then:Item 1: List of all Games (onClick = list of all games)Item 2: Update ListUsing the GameEx menu editor, how would I do that? Draco1962
I think you mean Custom Menu editor. You can find a fantastic guide here, courtesy of DazzleHP!
Damon
Hi Draco,Yep, read the guide but it doesn't address my issue..... i am not sure i know how to ask this..... so basically I want gameex to startup and BAM, there's the list of games. No selecting MAME, no selecting Emulators, No selecting game types, just BOOM, here's the list. And then maybe have the update list command at the bottom of the list. -D
Damon
Oh I'm aware of the gamelauncher mode, but I want to use one of the themes, so I think I need to stick to Simple Mode.
nullPointer
This functionality has been discussed before. I think you can construct a very close approximation of the menu structure you describe using the custom menu tool, but may not be able to create the exact structure you're after. Having said that, I think it's a perfectly valid feature request, particularly where this exact same functionality has been discussed previously.
