theme editing/configuration help

hello i am new here, love the program just wanted to know if it was possible to recreate this theme in gameex

i am currently using media center background v1 theme and it's close but the game list is on top of the preview videos. is there a way to move the list to the left in the editor or does anyone know of a theme that's already done that

You can edit every theme with the theme editor.

Here you can move and resize the Gamelist and you can resize the previews to full-size.

thank you for your reply, do you know if you can edit the font opacity, i didnt see an option for it

Font opacity is not not editable in Theme Editor at this time.

ok what would be the easiest way to remove sort options and move the game list all the way to the left margin...i dont see a way to do it easily. sorry to bother and thanks for your help

the easiest way to do it, is with the setup-wizard. its inside your GameEx folder. in the display-settings-section of the setupwizard, you will need to choose "simple mode" for the interface and the sort options are gone.

to move the game list, you will need to use the theme-editor (also in your GameEx folder). there you will see a list-box, which represents the list in your GameEx-theme, move it where you want it to be and change the size to the size you prefer. to make it fade out to the right, you will need to change the "unselected.png" inside your MEDIA folder of your choosen theme. you need to make it gradient, so that the left side is full opaque and the right side full transparent. then you will have a fadeout list.

for the animated background, you need to resize the image box (in the theme-editor) to your like.

what will you need for this? ...... at least a graphical app like Gimp or Photoshop. you will need avi-snaps for every game (make your own or download on emu-movies), to have the animated game-background.

i suggest, you start with the game-list and the removing of the sort-options, as this is the easiest thing to do.
