Here is another theme i'm working on called Emu City.

Its set at 1920x1080 and utilises the custom emulator modules.

This is a pretty big WIP but it's turning out to look sweet

Ive attached some very basic beginner snaps of the theme.

Emu City progression below (This is just to show the progress of each screen within the theme) Entries marked with Complete are finalized and will not be edited/changed.

It's been awhile since I've commented. Just wanted to say that I have been watching, and all off the work that you do is INSANE!

I truly wish that all of the new themes by yourself, Draco, Krakerman and others were available when I was heavily into emulation.

You could always get back heavily into it! B) Thanks for the compliment! Not to hijack the thread on KRC's endeavor, it is my hope that we will see many more themes in the days ahead. With the recent XBMC integration and continued improvements to GameEx, I think that we are in a renaissance of creativity.

Here's some new snaps of some other emulator screen's, I'm just concentrating on system screen's at the moment.

Thanks starbuck,

I'm already going through changes with this theme, I'll upload some snaps within the next hour.

This is the final presentation of what the system screens will look like.

Now i've got the PSD files fully setup I hope that each screen wont take too long, each PSD has about 25 layers.

Ive added more glossy finishes to some of the pieces in each system screen.

You're doing a hellova job KRC! Looks great so far. How's that saying, everything you touch turns to... Yeah you got it.

So far i've roughly done about 30 screens, for the complete experience i've tallied it up to roughly 140 screen's, they include alternatives like Genesis/Megadrive etc..

Thanks Krak,

It's been great doing this theme, the thing is though that I haven't even done the main menu screen yet :D

Ive just got a basic png running as bak.

What makes all the difference in this theme are the glossy layers that sit behind the frames, without those it wouldnt look half as good.

Here is the finalised N64 screen and this alone took 25 minutes to complete and be ready for the theme.

This N64 screen is absolutely flawless and this is how I want them all to be. Also when I manage to upload the theme, on user requests I can supply the PSD file for a specific system, so they can swap out background's etc if they wanted to.

If you get tired of compliments, then there is going to be a problem with this theme. Simply beautiful!

Thanks Tempest,

Compliment's give me the will to carry on, all I have to say is I love theming and artwork in general. But the main reason is Draco due to his input, when I first started theming, if it wasnt for him I wouldnt be where I am today. So thanks Mike for showing me the light ! :)

Man, it's simple AWESOME !

It's a HUGE work of edition AND research.

Because to do what you are doing, requires a LOT of digging images on Google or DeviantArt.

I'm really looking foward to it !

Congratulations ! :D

Thanks for the positive response vsl. :)

Yeah DeviantArt comes in handy alot for the backgrounds :D , but I do always give the artist a heads up before using it, incase they get funny about it.

Most of the character artwork is actually cut out by myself as some are the images are near impossible to find at a larger resolution.
