KRC
STARCADE (WIP)1920x1080Here's the current theme that im working on (amongst all the other stuff going on).Still needs alot of work doing to it but should be worth it when its completed. Im going to be using the Black Brushed logo set as they look like they were made for this theme.Im currently working on intro's, sfx and a whole lot more to make this theme worthwhile.Ive uploaded an example snapshot of the Start Page, as you can probably see things need a little tlc like the selector bar (im going to be shortening it and putting a lightsaber handle on there), Also more layers need to be added as it still looks a little bare.

Krakerman
I was almost thinking you were doing a theme based on that classic Arcade Gameshow.

KRC
Thanks celly,So I have finished the selector bar finally (minus the lightsaber hilt, its too complicated and obstructs the view of lettering on the list, it's a shame but I must go on)Also completed some special logo's for this set only (for example the cantina band for the jukebox logo ) and also working on a few secret idea's to be shown soon.Ill upload the snaps a little later on when im at the laptop. Draco1962
Instead of a graphic of a lightsaber, how about a silhouette of one? Or just adjusting the transparency and brightness/contrast a little?
KRC
Instead of a graphic of a lightsaber, how about a silhouette of one? Or just adjusting the transparency and brightness/contrast a little?I'm still thinking about putting the lightsaber for the selector bar, will probably do that last. I did try it with transparency but something still didnt look right, will have to explore more options.@Draco,As I have never explored start intro's for theme's, I thought I might aswell ask, basically what do I need to do get one working, all theme's ive done or edited have any type of intro or sound off.I wanted to include the attached screenshot that goes into the starcade logo and fades to the theme with the Star Wars intro music playing in the background.Any advice? Draco1962
I would imagine you could attack this from several angles. One way would be to create a movie file using Microsoft Movie or similar where you could have a static background and text scroll or slowly zoom in, have just a static image with the theme song playing at the start. Basically your imagination is the key here. There was a user named Invincer that did a Tunnels theme (you can probably still find an example on Youtube), that had vids running for all of his backgrounds. It was a monster in size and he never posted it for download that I am aware of.

KRC
Finally completed the intro and for some reason there's no video just audio, i'm using movie maker. The video is awesome when played in movie maker, but doesn't show video when saved as .MP4.Still working on getting it to work, anybody have any alternatives to movie maker?Ive tried different extension, codecs etc. to no avail. Ive attached a couple of snaps.
Draco1962
If you don't mind, please zip your original format and the mp4 to me and I will tinker this weekend.
KRC
Yeah no worries,Ive attached the snaps and the mp3.I'll give a slight breakdown of what it was like,A long time ago* lasted for 5 seconds >>> at 5 seconds the mp3* and Starcade main* came on and lasted between 10 -12 seconds making a total of roughly 17 seconds. (I was planning to make the intro shorter)I was experimenting with different filters for the intro but did not have time to implement them into the video.Ive also attached the MP4 file.Intro MP3.mp3Starcade Intro.rar

I actually thought about making video previews for the GameEx options a while back but never got round to it, it's a shame he never released it.
