Larger sized logo issues

I am creating logos that i need to be 1050x1680 for my secondary monitor but after a few secs when it displays for the system it's setup for it disapears and goes black however if I use a smaller sized image it displays and stays on all the time???

Is it posible to allow larger sized images to be used for Logos as I want from my main custom menu to display a much larger image on the secondary monitor when that system is highlighted.

Max I have ever used is 1024x768. Do you have the monitor turned vertically? Just asking because usually the resolution you are noting is 1680x1050 (a 16:10 ratio).

Yes it's a rotating monitor that I have set vertically which is awesome for SHMUPs.
