create snap shots?

hi - I think I am missing something - I understand from reading documentation on this site that I can create a set of "snaps" ?

I've set up the snap folders in each emulators folder, but I dont know where the actual program or option to create the snapshots is!!

probably a "cant see the wood for the trees" thing!!

Only problem is that I cannot find that option anywhere!

Is there a setting in config somewhere that lets you create the snap shots? I have tried changing the theme also with no luck...
