[found some] 4 player pc / ps1 game suggestions

Hey guys, So I love my beat em ups on mame, eg tmnt, final fight etc...

I'm looking for something a bit newer with nice graphics that has 4 player ability. (ie bringing old school to new technology)

anything out there you can think of?

looking primarily pc or psone based. (cab won't run ps2, wii etc...)

I may be biased - but Saturn Bomberman is the best multiplayer game bar none. It's the best version of Bomberman and has fantastic gameplay which is easy to get, but the more you play, the more subtle techniques become game changers - along with excellent powerups and letting people who die still help skew the game with revenge on remaining players in the round, means no one gets bored. It really is good for 2 to10 players.

Some others (non-sports) that pop to mind:

• Bishi Bashi PS1
  
• Devil Dice PS1
  
• Bombastic (devil dice 2) but it's on PS2
  
• Gauntlet
  
• Wii Mario Kart - prob won't work if yr PS2 emu doesn't perform well
  

umm that's all the4 player non-sports non-quiz I can think of at the moment - sorry none of these are beat'em ups - just read that part...

thanks for the suggestions

Now im having to weed out the pc games I was looking at as they use wasd for movement along with the mouse for direction (arcade only has one joystick per person and average of 6 buttons (p1 and 2 have 8)

You might want to consider xpadder so you can load up different profiles based on the different emulators you are running.
