gameEx reboots PC!

hi - when I load gameEx - it reboots the PC! I see the welcome screen for about 1 second, then it just reboots......I've gone through pretty much all the configuration pages trying to see why this happens - but I cannot find why!

I have windows XP Pro

mame32

any ideas what might be causing it? I'm really keen to get this working as it looks a brilliant tool!

the same happens to me about 2-3 times within the last days. in my case it reboots when coming back to gameex from daphne. if it appears more often, i'll try to search what happens

EDIT: This is most likely hardware related, unless somehow its trigerring the reboot command in GameEx. I may be wrong and it could be a bug but I would check your PC is not overheating for starters. Need the log though.

I've just noticed you have a new version available - I've downloaded that and it loads fine now!!

As a result, I no longer have the log files for showing the errors... but I remember that last entry in it was something like hide toolbar if that helps?

this is a really great bit of software Tom - excellent work

- on another note, when I "press 1" to goto the donate page from within the software, it shows that the security certificate has expired or something! Mabye I'd be good to go to a page on your site with more info about donating, then offer the link? Just a thought!
