[RESOLVED] How to make one big "arcade" section with several emulator?

Hi guys,

Been a long time user of gameex, but I left my cab away for a while, and now I'm back and trying to configure this mess! (I'm only using Gameex as an emulator frontend)

What I'm trying to do is to have an "Arcade" section in gameex, that would group the full mame set, plus some games emulated trought zinc,model2,daphne, FBA, etc...

I want the emulator choice to be invisible for the final user.

On my first try, I tought the zinc, model2 and daphne section just after the mame setup should do the trick.

And it almost do! zinc and model2 games are now included in the mame game list, and the right emulator is used when I launch the game.

But daphne game aren't in the mame list, they are listed under "emulated games/laserdisc" why?

And then, if I manage to put daphne game in the same list, what if I want to add another emulator like model3 or FBA, for exemple?

So I tought the way to go was the "emulator setup" , and especily the "emulator group" menu.

But it seems impossible to configure Daphne using this, Am I wrong?

So what is the way to go? I'm a little bit lost.

Hi Gus - I think it may be possible to do what you are seeking using the emulator group option. However, you may want to start by providing us with a copy of your gameex.ini and log.txt files so we can take a more educated look at the current state of your setup rather than trying to second-guess. Once we have those files we can review and give you more solid advice. Thanks!

Here they are.

Please note that every emulators are working fine, mame, zinc, model2 and daphne are launching game.

The only problem is daphne not mixing with MAME, like zinc and model2 do.

For MAME you need to use 0 in the group. For Daphne it is 1000.
