Block switch no longer blocks all casino and mahjongg titles

While upgrading to GameEx 12.84, I noticed that under MAME Settings the "No Casino Games / Gimme Casion(sic)" and "No Mahjong / Gimmie Mahjong" no longer block all of these titles, and should be updated.

I can't help much with this but love seeing people using the Game Info plugin!

You did try rebuilding your MAME list I assume? Maybe something has changed or your catver needs updating?

Same thing happened to me. Make sure you're pointing to the catver.ini that you want to use rather than whatever is in gameex\data?

I think the included catver.ini is a little too old as Wubble stated. Ill update it.

Suggestion:

Always use catver.ini, history.dat, controls.ini etc version that match your MAME version, put them in a specific directory so that they won't be overwritten by updates, and set them accordignly in Setup Wizard.

In the mean time you can set up GameEx to use a current catver by downloading it and pointing GameEx at it.

anyone have a good link to download current catver.ini and such ? I noticed on gameex that some adult games do not get filtered (e.g wonder stick) so maybe its my catver.ini ...
