Windows 8 Issue

Hey, for the most part GameEx seems fine in Windows 8. The issue I am having is when I close GameEx, the process hiding the desktop and such remains active. Any ideas how I can fix this?

I noticed this too a couple of times but I can't reproduce the issue now. You can disable this behaviour under display settings - hide desktop in the setup wizard.

I can confirm this issue. The desktop goes fullscreen/black and the taskbar disappears--but the icons on the desktop remain visible. The workaround is to get rid of the desktop icons.

I can also confirm that when typing this response into this forum's reply textbox in Internet Explorer 10 (on Windows 8), the enter key doesn't work--I duplicated on two machines. Works fine on Firefox though. Really!

Sounds like an OS or browser compatibility issue. Are you running any custom inputs? More info is probably needed to try to witness or resolve the issue.
