fRequEnCy Posted July 29, 2012 Posted July 29, 2012 This is what sticks out on all occasions:Command="[rompath]/[romfile]"Should be in the habit of using the following instead:Command="[rompath]\[romfile]"
Chaos.Tiki Posted July 29, 2012 Author Posted July 29, 2012 I never had a problem with that... all my games load just fine. I will try changing that and seeing if it causes that error again.
Chaos.Tiki Posted July 30, 2012 Author Posted July 30, 2012 Ok so I might have a bit more of an idea reguarding this problem. Seems an "In game" menu appears when i push the "L" key a couple times. Some of my games crash when i push it and some of them go to that menu where i can resume the game. gamex crashes but those games it crashed on are still working in the background. How can I disable that command, or at least shift it over to another key?
nullPointer Posted July 30, 2012 Posted July 30, 2012 Hi Chaos.TikiIt sounds like the In Game Key may be causing you some headaches. The help text seems to back this up.This is the virtual key code that when pressed will display the in game menu when playing a game. So you can do things such as view the manual and control panel. NOTE: It wil not work with all emulators and systems. You can find this setting in the Setup Wizard on the Input Settings screen under the Keyboard Input section. It appears that it may still cause issues if you attempt to disable the key outright, so you're probably better off setting it to a rarely used key.
KRC Posted July 30, 2012 Posted July 30, 2012 Im pretty sure the L key is pre-configured when first setting up GameEx.I used to have exactly the same issue, and changed my key and then it worked ok, it did cause an issue when I removed the specific key to nothing, follow nulls advice and should be good to go.
Chaos.Tiki Posted July 30, 2012 Author Posted July 30, 2012 (edited) Yup that was my problem. Its resolved now. Thanks! Edited August 3, 2012 by Draco1962 This thread is now marked as Resolved and has been closed. If the problem re-occurs, please start a new thread.
