Hello again! And a bit of a noob question

Firstly, hi everyone. It's been a long while but time flies... so here I am again... my cabinet for whatever reason (kids) lost all the GameEx config info for all emus, and everything... so I had to rebuild it. I decided to update everything as it was a perfect chance. GameEx has really come a long way! I love all the new options available, seems like combining the Advanced config and the Wizard really works well... plus I finally have the cabinet the way I want it with the 'simple' interface selected.

I created my own 'theme' combining the Future Retro and Black Glass themes ... it works great!

But.. as always with change comes questions....

1. Seems I lost the list of 'other variations' when you view a game's info, you know the one that shows what other emulators play the same game. Is that lost with the 'simple' interface option? I really liked that list.

2. How can I remove the Media player display? When I play a song, I get this little box with the effects from media player on my screen.

3. How can I shrink the scrolling song name for the songs as they are playing. It's too long.

I'll take a screen shot if you need to see what I am talking about...

oh yeah... where is the Daphne setup posted? Does anyone have it for the newest version of GameEx?

Here's the problem... the teale box covering the Mame video is the Media Player screen saver... and the scrolling name at the top is covering the whole length.

I did upgrade the theme to version 4 if that helps.

you can turn off the visualization in the last screen of the setup-editor from game-ex:

Tweaks / Performance:

Enable Visualizations = NO

for the rest of your questions, i hope somebody else can help you.

The scrolling "Now Playing" line cannot be removed so far as I am aware.

I don't want to remove it, I just want to reduce the width to fit the background. It's presently covering the right side, which is where the controls are.

Is that in an ini file somewhere? I'm just not seeing where I can adjust it.
