So I went thru rom center and fixed some of my roms. Now in GameEx do I have to refresh the db for MAME? How can I manually tell it to do this?

Once you select MAME from the welcome screen, scroll all the way to the bottom and there should be an Update List option. Takes a few minutes to do, so get comfy.
