[LOGOS] KRC Icons/Logos *Gloss Black*

Here is a quick preview of my new icon set, Im trying to make these as clean as possible.

I am still continuing with my other icon set at the same time, which is about 60% complete.

These icons are alot easier to make than the other set, but to tell the truth I am struggling with finding sytem logos of a very high quality, some are easy to find but others are proving more difficult.

Arcade any Handheld Icons finished, should be done within the next day or so.

Here is a print screen of my Gloss Black Arcade folder, I did this rather than upload icons individually. Hope you like

(It only shows the top half of the icons in the folder) *These have been done on the laptop not my pc where GameEx is (Still used a mouse as the mousepad isnt great, Well that's Dell for Ya)!

Console Icons Completed, Just need to do PC icons and the GameEx icons like jukebox,multimedia etc...

I dont think i will bother doing the emulator icons like mess,mednafen etc because I dont think they are really needed, Or are they?

These icons are turning out so clear, Im very happy with my work , Its not just a case of drag and drop system logos because all the images need to be filtered,colored,cleaned etc.. which is very exhausting for me, also Im still doing my other icon set at the same time

I have done AAE, But I will do the other ones you suggested no problem, If you can think of anymore icons that you think I might miss, dont hesitate to tell me.

This is going to be a huge set once finished (Not really in terms of Mb size but in terms of the amount of icons).

Be sure to save a copy of your template in .xcf and .psd formats and include with your logo package. This makes it easier for those who want to create additional system or other logos.

I will have to adjust the outline on the Taito Icon because in GIMP its not visible but outside GIMP it is.

I don't mind at all, Google Advanced Search(.SVG), WikiGamia and if I can't find a logo I search for a website that discusses the system in question and look on there and usually copy it and buff it up with GIMP so it's quality is that of a vector image.

Some of my icons were actually .jpeg images and I went the whole nine yards with GIMP.

As you know it's amazing what GIMP can do, if you can't be bothered to search for a system logo, I could upload them if you wanted me to.

That would be cool. I have need to clean-up and consolidate my collection as I have accumulated quite a bit that is either obsolete or incorrect. I had begun series of logos very similar to the ones that you have put together a while back (about the time I released my "Enter the Dragon" theme, only using a circular frame. I might have to dust off the xcf and update it.

Which logos do you need or want, I have quite a collection, not all are .SVG but can be worked with to make them look great.

Here are some examples of an orb design I had been toying with that I noted previously, with various rings around them and standalone.

As for the specific system logo I am looking for I will shoot you a list. A good quality Action Max, for example, is hard to find in larger formats. Channel F is another common system that the logo is hard to find in a large format that isn't extremely pixelated.

Very Cool Indeed, , I do admire the way you show your skills by not showing 1 image but 4 variations (Im Very Jealous), I dont have enough time in the day to do variations due to other commitments, also being a learner in GIMP doesnt speed things up, but I do get there in the end.

The Channel F system logo I used was a very crappy .png image.

With a little help from GIMP, I went from this(1st Photo) to this (2nd Photo).

Ill have a look through both my PC and Laptop for some images that you may want, I did land on a website that had very good collection of system logos, but I cant for the life of me find it again, I was using the site to create my other icon set but now ive started on these icons aswell I cant seem to find it, I forgot to save it to favorites .

Below is a couple of examples of the quality of the logos I got off that site (Its unfortunate that I never saved them, I just copied them to a blank canvas, buffed them up then pasted onto the template, Ill learn from this and remember to save things more often), I know these really belong in my other icon topic but i thought I would show you.
