[RESOLVED] GameEx will not run after latest update.

I had been playing on my machine last evening, all was good. I noticed the

notification of a new update available. Chose to update as I always had.

Left the room at the time to let it update, came back to an error message box.

It gave me the option to report the error, and send the info which I did.

Rebooted the computer and tried again twice... still same error. I'll have to try

to get the exact error message, and post it, but I believe the error is video related

as it is in the process of checking the video specs, memory etc when it happens.

As a registered version user, if necessary, is there a way to roll it back to the last

version and keep the registered user info, configuration etc if necessary?

Any help appreciated. Always worked flawlessly before this update.

We will need the log file to troubleshoot the issue. This is normally located here: c:\gameex\log\log.txt

PS: You may also just need to do a manual download and install from the web site if GameEx did not install properly.

I've copied / pasted the error file I get when I try to run GameEx below.

If I were to download GameEx latest version, and run the install... will I lose the current config, and registration information thereby losing the

I always recommend making a backup but if you download and run the install that way, your configs should be OK.

I see there's another newer version.... try that one, or try re-installing the one previously that seemed to mess things up?

Running the install that way is "exactly" the same as the auto update. There is no difference and by the look of your log I can see that will deffinitly fix your problem.
