I have Visual Pinball working on the outside and working in Gameex on some tables that do not require any vbs files to support them. What I would like to do is setup the command line to go to the Table folder then to the executable file. I have attached my ini setup of the software. I also have a sample path line below:

C:\Emulators\Pinball\Visual Pinball\Tables\Bad Cats (Williams) (1989)\(then the table .vpt file)

So here is my question: How do I set up my configuration in Gameex to use the folder names in the gamelist in Gameex for selection purposes, but once the table is selected go inside the folder to the .vpt file to start the game?

If I am not making sense, I will provide any additional info to better explain.

I am not certain you can do that within one instance of Visual Pinball. What you may need to do is have several instances (i.e., setup Visual Pinball as several separate emulator options) with differing command lines to invoke what you need for those using .vbs support. You would then set up all instances as an Emulator Group so that they all appear together under one option instead of as separate emulated systems.

As for the command line you would need to use in the second instance that has the .vbs support I cannot tell you as I have little experience regarding.

I think the answer to your question is yes. The name of the folder is the name of the table and corresponding .vpt file inside it.

Then you would simply want to scan sub folders for roms.

In Advanced Emulator Setup of Setup Wizard, change Scan Sub Folders to Yes.

Help text is as follows:

Also scan for files within sub folders of the rom folder.
