Trouble running any emulators in GameEx, but runitgame.bat works fine

I'm having difficulty launching any emulators successfully within GameEx. When I select a game and launch it, GameEx minimizes, no emulator opens, and then GameEx returns. I'll be using Nestopia as an example. Nestopia works perfectly fine outside of GameEx. In addition, runitgame.bat also works perfectly fine and successfully launches the game. Does anyone have any ideas as to what might be wrong?

I've attached my log and configs. Please let me know if you need any more information.

I edited your post to insert the Spoiler codes to shorten the post up a little bit. I am not familiar with Nestopia but it sounds like something has changed along the way. Was the log.txt file created immediately following your attempt to access a game in Nestopia?

Whoops, I think I re-edited it after you to make the logs attachments instead of in the post body. Hopefully that's better. ^_^

I have the same problem with MAME, Nestopia, BSNES, etc. Nothing I've tried launches the emulator.

As far as log.txt goes, I'm not sure I'm following your question. log.txt looks like it's created as soon as you launch GameEx. The entry that documents trying to launch Nestopia is appended immediately after trying to access a game, yes.

Thanks for the response Tom. Here's what I tested:

Turning off GameExtender: fail

Moving emulator path to a path without equals sign: fail

Moving roms path to a path without equals sign: fail

Moving GameEx installation path to a path without equals sign: success

Reinstalled GameEx to another path with equals signs in it and again it fails. So that's the culprit.

Perhaps you can't have any special characters in your GameEx installation path. Not the hugest deal, but is that something you might look into fixing sometime in the future? Everything other than launching emulators seems to work for me when GameEx has equals in the installation path.
