Video Streaming Not Working

Hi Guys,

Fairly new to mame and gameex(love this program)

I seem to be having difficulty streaming media from my pc inside to the pc in the box

It plays local movies on the drive no problem

but as soon as I try a networked location it shows the picture and the write up but the preview does not move and will not play the movie

My sharing is all set and have tried streaming from the desktop and works no problem but would prefer to have gameex running in the box full time

So you can stream movies outside of GameEx on the same machine?

Yes no problems streaming through any program outside of gamex

I am not quite following what is happening. Can you provide us with copies of your gameex.ini and a log.txt file immediately following your attempt to play a video in GameEx? Also, might be good to know what you are using for your default video player. Thanks!

Perhaps try mapping a drive? I have not seen any problems myself like this.
