Gameex and X-arcade joystick question

Hi,

I looked in the Mame ctrlr directory at the X-Arcade Setup and it looks like exit (UI_CANCEL) Is assigned to the Right Flipper and Player 2 button, being pressed at the same time.

If you have MAME setup to use X-Arcade, and default controller settings for your X-Arcade this should work.

This is a MAME configuration thing.

You probably need to add this to MAMEOptions in GameEx.ini.

It is deffinitly possible to escape a game with the X-Arcade. If you still have problems, check the MAMEWorld site, or post there. Or try the X-Arcade Site for more info.

First - I love this front end. Best one ever for what I want!

Only question - is there any way to EXIT a game back to the GameEx

menu once you've started one using an X-Arcade joystick? I can add

credits, launch a game, and play a game, but don't see any obvious

way to get out of the mame UI and back to select another game

without pulling out my keyboard and pressing ESC. For this to be

the perfect solution to my arcade cab, I want to be able to switch

games with only the joystick controllers.

Any ideas?

Yea two player and right flipper escapes if you do it twice it will take you out of gammeex.

Not naming any other frontends *cough* where the response from the creator is probably about as frequent...
