Ok, made sure my mame.ini is refering to the correct path for my samples folder, yet games such as qBert not playing with audio. I made sure to have a copy of the newest sample, running newest build of Mame64. Any ideas?

Have you run your ROMS/Samples through Clrmamepro or ROMLister to ensure that what you have is brought up to the latest MAME version/build you are using?

Ok figured it out. I was running the newest download of mame but I hadn't downloaded the newest compiled update u6. Now everything is perfect.
