[RESOLVED] Need help configuring AAE within GameEx

Anyone have specific instructions for getting AAE to launch from within GameEx? I have tried any number of things and simply cannot get it to launch properly. Any advice would be appreciated.

The config for your emulator would probably be helpful. The first thing to check is that you are running the correct command line from within GameEx.

You may also want to make sure that the command line for the emulator setup in GameEx is aae.exe [ROMFILE]per this site http://emuconfig.wikidot.com/emuconfig unless someone else has a suggestion. You may also want to consider using the map file by Frequency (click on the link in my sig).

Wow. I didn't even know that I had that site still. LOL. I had created to make a wiki but stopped the project. Will take it off and offer everything here so probably best not to link to it but thanks for pointing it out.

Edit: Site has been removed. All content will be found on my post in the exception of this emulator. But the recommended command-line still is the same as well as use of my map file.

Been trying to get AAE to run properly via GameEx. I can run AAE alone just fine. When I run it through GameEx I get no video. You can hear the game running (sound) which tells me that GameEx is launching AAE. All of the log files also confirm this. I hae AAE set to run full screen.

Any help would be appreciated.

@MAME-AL - I merged your last post/topic with the one you had opened previously. Have you changed the command line within GameEx for AAE as was suggested in conjunction with the AAE map file located here?

When an emualtor is running in the background, it usually is a fullscreen issue. But you're saying you have it fullscreen. Next thing to try is to set Show Desktop to Yes in Advanced Emulator Setup to verify.
