...and is a HUGE step forward! :D

SSF loves this! Takes the fuss out of setting up a bastardly emulator for sure!

Thanks Tom.

So I already have DTLite setup in GameEx for Saturn emulation do I need to change anything as far as the command line? Before we had to use the Launch before and launch after feature. Now we can remove that or ?

The old way still works but it can be used even easier now by a parameter in the command-line instead of using launch before/after. This just simplifies setting up emulators who need mounting and also frees up the launch before/after for other apps.

That's what I use for SSF. ^^^

Well what is the new command line? Is it this: [VIRTUALDRIVE]:\

[VIRTUALDRIVE] is the parameter but how to use it depends on the emulator. Fastest way is to import the included configs. As they are already setup for this use. If not then post which emulator and we can troubleshoot. Also take a look at the help context and it will give some examples.

This is great! I can't wait to setup SSF again and actually have it work correctly all the time. Thanks Tom!

Hey Tom.. GameEx is still crashing after few minutes.. :-/

GameExtender: can you add a Gameinfo Page like cpwizards gameinfo?

And can i switch the gameextender from monitor2 to monitor1 at start from a mame game? I have a arcade monitor and a small Monitor with touchscreen. Normally the small monitor is for the gameextender. But for the games with touch i will change the monitors to use.

Not with GameExtender currently, but soon you'll be able to do this with a plugin. Hang tight. :)

That's another feature in a plugin coming out soon... You set your screen according to the emulator currently, but there's no reason it can't be passed in on a per-game basis... :)

I'm not sure if it's a bug or something I'm doing wrong but GameEx doesn't seem to be finding my Daemon Tools Lite

I've installed ISO Mounting Support during the installation

I've installed the latest Daemon Tools Lite

I've set my command for SFF to:

SFF.exe [VIRTUALDRIVE]:\

but when I run a game I get nothing

If I check the runitgame.bat it says:

SSF.exe Install ISO Support:\

Is there something else I need to do somewhere?

@PimpDaddyStu:

I think you shouldn't have both mounting programs installed: as far as I have understood, ISO mounting support should be considered legacy.

I don't know if your problem is related to this, but first thing I would have tried to uninstall it.

That's why Tom (if I remember correctly) was thinking of removing it from the setup. It could generate confusion.

I believe you are correct, Alpha.

Stu - Try uninstalling Virtual Clone Drive and see if this resolves your error.

I had tried running it previously without having ISO Mounting Support installed, it didn't work which is what made me think I needed to install it.

I don't see any option for uninstalling Virtual Clone Drive, I've tried removing GameEx and installing it again but still the same result "Install ISO Support:\"

I have it working perfectly using my own batch files so it's no big deal but it would have been nice to take advantage of this feature to unclutter my run before and after batch files
