What do you think, should I drop virtual drive completely from the install? I am not sure about including DT Lite in the install. Maybe If I have it do a full install and not hide the install that won't break any license?

When I close the game, it pops up a msgbox asking if I want to open the media.

Have you considered any of the other free or open source alternatives? I saw a few at http://alternativeto.net/software/daemon-tools/ although I can only say that I have only ever used Daemon Tools Lite in the past.

Understood - what is the best solution? I though you were looking for suggestions other than DT Lite because of the licensing. Is that a non-issue now or are you just looking for different ideas on how to get it to the users? You can always add a link to the publishers site in the setup wizard and let the users handle the registration of the product, etc.?

You can tout DT Lite support and not supply it right? Most people who use emulators know the benefits of DT Lite. Especially ePSXe users from what I remember!

Correct. DT lite is the most used image mounting app for emulation. It has been used for years and pretty much supports everything I've ever thrown at it. May not include it in install but nothing wrong with linking to it and using it in GameEx. Not such a big deal. Small price to pay for something that works great as opposed to what you were using before.
