Maximus Arcade theme?

Hi, can anyone point me in the direction of where to download the maximus arcade theme that can be seen on Toms video section of the main site.

What font did you use?

Also, how do you get those little icons next to the game names?

The font is Bauhaus_Medium_BT.ttf (it's included in the download).

There are a couple of MAME icons sets to choose from. There is the set for MAMEUI from here or Mamu's pack here.

Once you have the icons you need to launch the Setup Wizard and select Custom->MAME Settings and set the icon path.

Hi Tom, I don't see this option anywhere. I see GameLauncher mode, but that completely removes the theme.

There is no change view button on the above page. I hit the Mame Games button and it then reverts to the main page / list. But each time I load it goes to the above page again, and I have to hit the Mame Games button again. Very frustrating.

Try scrolling right or left until the "Change view" appears...

In that view there aren't any buttons at the top of the page... just right or left scrolling.

Randomly? Since GameEx is supposed to keep track of your chosen view for each page, I guess you changed your view, maybe unwillingly... otherwise it could be a bug.

The problem is, I don't want to remove ALL the other options, just some of them like 'Change View', Back, Home, Exit.

I want to keep the other ones 'Last Played', Trackball Games, etc

Changing that setting just removes the horizontal menu. It should not remove last played or trackball games.

Why do we have to use the Wizard to change the interface mode to Simple. Why isn't the option available in the config?

Also, the list numbers has disappeared. I have the Show List Numbers set to Yes.

It is in the gameex.ini file but we prefer to use the wizard as the "go to" place to make changes for the sake of simplicity.

The Advanced Config Application is now legacy and no longer included in the install. Its all Setup Wizard now.

I am not sure what you mean by "Show List Numbers". If this is a theme option you may have to edit the theme.
