deadboy
I picked up another Golden Tee cabinet for purposes of turning it into a MAME for a friend. It came with the little "Tournament Play" LED display.I've heard these are impossible/a huge pain in the @$$ to repurpose for just general LED display usage. Has anyone around here tried this? Any tips? Would I be better just pulling out the board and display and just replaced it with one that's a little more user friendly? Thanks in advance. Adultery
Does it plug in to your PC using a serial cable, and if so, can LedWiz work it?
Draco1962
I believe they use a special EPROM and that there is no interface available except through the manufacturer. Might be able to Ebay it though for someone else trying to complete a Golden Tee cab.
deadboy
Yeah, it's got a special plug and an EPROM that's turning out to be a VERY proprietary system to Golden Tee. I was HOPING to use it for my MAME cab since it's made to fit on top of it.
headkaze
You would probably have to change it to a generic LED scrolly sign. The LCD/LED Plugin supports Pro-Lite PL-M2014R and some BetaBrite signs. It support BetaBrite via USB so that is probably the best option.
