One of the features of Maximus Arcade that I liked was its ability to switch between displaying "All" or "Favorites" within a single emulator. So far I haven't seen the equivalent in GameEx. It would be nice if the horizontal menu in the emulators would offer "Favorites" as a filter. Does anyone know if such an option exists?

Closest you can get to that is to go into favorites and select "By System".

I like the way GameEx does group the favorites together, it means that you dont have to keep exiting favorites and try to remember which system your favorites are in, expecially if you have a lot of systems emulated lke myself and many others do, but again thats just my opionion.

Agreed. I like it too and I have no complaint about how Favorites works today--and would not advocate changing it. It's a perfectly sensible view. However, with that said, I do feel that the addition of a "Favorites" view within emulators is very desirable when browsing by system--which is my personally preferred manner of browsing.

Right now the individual console emulators offer useful filters such as "By Category", "By Manufacturer", and "By Year". What I would like to see is a "Favorites" filter added to that list. And to top things off, I'd love to see an option in the setup wizard to set the default filter used for each emulator. This way, when I enter a console's game list, I can choose whether to see the full list of 900 games, or just the 40 favorites on that system and swap between these views on the fly.

These sound like a variation of previous requests to refining Favorites at the emulator level. Would you mind posting a detailed description (much as you have in your last post) under the Features & Enhancements thread which is setup for tracking these types of items?
