Has anyone been able to bypas the disclaimer by setting it in GamEx? When I first installed GamEx, it was the reason why my games would not load. I was just wondering since I keep seeing other people having a similar problem. My games play fine now, but it would be nice to able to get past that. (I also tried another command that someone suggested on one of the threads, but I can't remember right now).

Thanks in advance

Yep need more info to what you are talking about... the screen that comes up before a mame game starts? The Donation page?...

The "Bypass disclaimer" option in GameEx works! But in "Advanced MAME configuration", make sure you remove the command line for bypass (that is being sent to mame.exe), because that doesn't work anymore.

I did that - I used the "-skip_disclaimer" command in the AdvanceMAME options. Just boots me out of the game again.

Nevermind....I got it to work finally. Misundertood what you meant at first.

1. I got rid of all command to skip the disclaimer (in MAME and AdvanceMAME)

2. Activated AdvanceMAME

3. Set the "Bypass Disclaimer" option to "YES"

Works great!!

Thanks!!

I'm glad to have helped. Just make sure never to map your "O" and "K" keys to a button. Because what GameEx does with this turned on is sending "ok" over and over to MAME while the game is booting, this way skipping all disclaimers.

I used to have player one button 1 mapped to O and button 2 mapped to K so I could "skip" manually, but while playing games, smartbombs kept fireing all the time and... well, not good.
